I hear ya’. Entrepreneurship is one of the most challenging {and rewarding} journeys you’ll ever experience. And too often, I see the most amazing, compassionate, brilliant entrepreneurs struggle because they try to do it all themselves and never reach out for support and guidance.

Not too long ago, there was a time when I was running a thriving and highly profitable small business consulting + financial planning practice. On the surface, things looked fantastic! I was making amazing money for a 20-something straight out of her MBA program… I was living in the posh Buckhead area of Altanta, I paid cash for a brand new 2007 Prius, and I was about to get married to my college sweetheart.

But inside, I was miserable. In an overly-competitive and aggressive office, I was simply not OK with the sleazy marketing and sales strategies we were taught. It just felt pushy and gross. Just not me at all. If I had to read through one more sales script or attend one more sales training, I was gonna lose it!

So I broke all the rules. I ignored everything I was told to do and re-designed my marketing and sales strategy to fit ME. I connected with other heart-centered, creative entrepreneurs and collaborated on new ways to create a community. I hosted amazingly fun events, like spa days and yoga mini-retreats, for my clients and their friends. I hosted regular free workshops at my favorite gourmet wine shop and local restaurants.

I was having a blast marketing my business! But the traditional business world wasn’t quite ready for it {in fact, I was getting physically sick from the anxiety and stress of that dog-eat-dog environment}. So I walked. In 2008, I turned in my resignation and jumped on my yoga mat.

Within a few months, the yogis in my community realized my experience in building heart-centered businesses. My teacher invited me to manage her yoga studio and within a few months, I had launched The Yogipreneur.

The Yogipreneur Mentorship Program brings my experience from the past 10 years of gettin’ under the hood of over 500+ businesses {ranging from financial planning to wineries to manufacturing to biotechnology to yoga}: preparing national award winning business plans, prepping for angel investment funding, creating promotional content, designing programs and services, and building my own businesses.
